With The H being closed down, Fab will be out of a job very soon — an upcoming Linux Outlaws episode will explain what this means for our production schedule for the show

By now, you will probably have heard yesterday’s news about The H closing down. That was indeed, as most people guessed, the personal circumstances I referred to a few weeks ago. Dan and I have recorded a Linux Outlaws episode today where we talk about what is going on in more detail and explain what it all means for the show. That episode should be out tomorrow. Let me once again re-iterate that we are not stopping the show; episodes will however appear somewhat more irregular while I am trying to find a new job.

Losing what I felt was the perfect job was a bit of a blow, especially that quickly after me and my girlfriend moved to London for it. Please understand that I need to get to grips with all of this before I will have the energy to do more podcasting in earnest.

I bet you can count on all your listeners having eyes, ears and remaining senses open for you!

I’m sorry I can’t do much, but express my support and probably not be alone with the statement that we will remain yours and patient for shows!

Sorry to hear about it Fab.

I was in a situation that was much like it last year and I know how difficult that is. What I’ve learned was: keep active. It helps a lot.

I’m certain that this will be a short period of time.

Best regards from a Brazillian fan,

I’m sorry to hear the news dude. I’m in a similar situation and am on the verge of having to give up doing what I love for pragmatic necessity (money). My advice would be to keep fighting for a similar job and don’t settle for doing something lesser for money’s sake.
    Doors will open.

Hi Fab. I was and am saddened to hear of the H’s decision to shut down. While I may be sad to hear of this, I know you have many other emotions to deal with while also looking for work. Thank you for all the work you (and Dan) put into the podcast. I certainly hope to hear some good news from you soon; I, too, share the sentiment that you will not be long in looking. Best of luck.

    Cheers, mate.
