I was just wondering, i have downloaded the 'bunch-of-creepers' one, i guess Fabian made that one, and i liked it.
Is anyone else using other packs and is there are there any others that might be worth a try?
I really liked http://painterlypack.net/ when I played Mein Kraft. It tries to capture the feeling of the original MC graphics in its default form and tries to improve upon them in every way, but there are several different options for every single texture, every table and every mob. Highly recommended.
There was also a cool Legend of Zelda-like one I forget the name of.
I've never used one myself, no - but I've heard they have an Adventure Time texture pack, and the very idea tickles my fancy.
I've also heard cool stuff about the hi-def texture pack, but I believe it requires a mod of some kind.
That's about all the input I have on texture packs, I'm afraid. Let us know if you find any worth trying out!

If you install the optifine mod (which makes your FPS go up) it also lets you use higher def texture packs which I use. I'm currently using the http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/127 … te-322012/ one which makes stuff look pretty awesome
for those of us who think minecraft isnt simple and blocky enough looking:
seems to help a lil on machines with poorer performance too.
