Just when you thought you were save for a month, we hit you with another episode. This time, it’s all about Magic The Gathering, Warhammer and tanks.

Dave kicks off the show by talking about building a cube for Magic. With physical cards.

Fab had a very different experience with Anno 1800 than Dave did in our previous episode. He’s also been reading history papers on the Battle of Prokhorovka.

Dave’s been playing the Game of Thrones, sorry, Song of Ice & Fire miniatures game. He also discusses many Warhammer topics with Mike, including the new plastic Sisters of Battle.

We end the show, as is customary, with your feedback.

In a revival of the classic Sixgun show Angels of Death, we get Listener Number One Niklas on board and talk Warhammer for a whole episode.

This episode was recorded almost a month ago, but was much delayed due to Fab being very busy. We are continuing with our efforts to get the show back to a more regular schedule. Please hang in there for a while longer.

Anyway, back to the topics: This episode is all about the Warhams. First, Niklas explains how he got into the hobby. In fact, Dave and Fab were instrumental in pulling him back in.

Mike talks about the Black Library books he’s read since the last episode he was on.

Finally, Dave summarises all the Warhammer news that have been happening. Alas, by the time you hear this, none of this will be news to you. Blame Fab.

We also discuss the Everchosen painting competition, the new Lord of the Rings release, Warcry, the Repulsor Executioner tank, a new Machanicum transport and the magnificent Chaos Knight.

Fab wants to paint this bust of Bismarck.

We end the show with some feedback and introduce the Repository of the Sigillites – let us know what you think! Get in touch via Twitter, by joining the Sixgun Discord or by sending an email to feedback@sixgun.org. Thanks to Bytemark for graciously providing bandwith for this podcast.

Dave, Mike and Fab talk Warhammer 40K, Magic: The Gathering and also look at The Expanse Board Game.

Mike’s back on the show and he’s been doing Movember. Just look at that mustache!

Naturally, there’ll be a lot of Warhammer talk in this episode. But we start with Dave reviewing The Expanse Board Game.

After that Dave and Fab discuss Magic: The Gathering some more. Dave reviews Fab’s most recent draft deck and came up with an improved version. At some point the Black Lotus gets mentioned.

Mike then updates us on the latest developments in Warhammer 40K: VigilusDa OrksPrimaris Calgar and other bits and bobs. We talk about the new 40K podcast from Games Workshop.

It even has an RSS feed!

Mike also talks about two Black Library books he’s gotten into recently, namely The Lords Of Silence and Dark Imperium: Plague War. He also mentions Warhammer Horror and Track of Words.

Also check out Karl the Nurgling.

We end the show by talking about your feedback. Like this great submission from Richard Marsh:

Fab and Mike talk about Heavy Metal, Warhammer 40K fiction, female Space Marines and the changes that are being wrought upon our hobby.

We start the episode with a preview of Operation SOAP, our trip to Sabaton Open Air in Falun, Sweden. Fab will take his motorbike and meet up with Mike and the boys in Copenhagen and then we’ll drive up together. Mike reviews the bands we definitely want to see – aside from the almighty Sabaton, of course.

Fab is especially intrigued by Hulkoff. And yes, he indeed has an outlaw country band like Fab suspected.

We also talk about Danish student caps for some reason.

Mike then goes through the Black Library books he’s read recently. This includes the Eisenhorn short story collection The Magos and the latest Gaunt’s Ghosts book by Dan Abnett: The Warmaster. He’s also read The Devastation of Baal by Guy Haley. Currently, he’s reading Wolfsbane which was also written by Guy Haley.

We mention the background book The Sabbat Worlds Crusade which Mike is lucky enough to own, and also Warmaster Macaroth.

Fab and Mike then dive into the fray of the discussion around female Space Marines. Especially Fab is not OK with this prospect and we try to analyse why that is. This ends up being a quite thorough discussion about contemporary changes to fictional universes we’ve loved since we were kids.

This week, we have no feedback. Send us some for an upcoming show! Or even better, come and join our Discord.

Mike returns for an epic discussion of all things 40K-related, including those kids books.

In another entry of an episode we recorded ages ago and just released now, we bring you a special on Warhammer 40K and also our latest #4Feldherren update.

As part of this, Mike joins us once again from the dry wastes of Ireland to talk about all the things that have happened 40K-wise since he was on last. Of course, we also discuss the somewhat controversial 40K children’s books. Warning: Fab Rant incoming! We then reminisce about how we got into the hobby and speculate to where it will all lead.

To wrap up the show, we address your feedback, as is customary.
